Exchange Mailbox - Configuring Devices

This document shows you how to access your mailbox via a web browser and how to configure your mailbox on mobile devices.

Accessing via the web 

To access your mailbox via a web browser, browse to https://outlook.hs20.net and then enter your email address and password.

Configuring Outlook

1. Open Start → Control Panel → Mail. Mail Setup dialog appears.
2. Click Show Profiles button. Mail dialog appears.
3. Make sure Prompt for a profile to be used option is selected and click Add button.
4. Enter Profile Name in the dialog and press OK.
5. In the Add New E-mail Account wizard fill Your Name and E-mail Address fields.
6. In the Exchange login prompt enter your mailbox login (which is your email address) and password.
7. Outlook will try to discover your mailbox settings over secure internet connection. You could be prompted to allow Outlook to perform redirection from one site (unsecure) to another (secure). Allow this redirection.

Windows Phone 8 

1. To set up a new email account, select Settings and then email + accounts.
2. Select the option to add an account.
3. Select the option to add an Outlook account.
4. Enter in your full email address and password you use to access your email account and tap Sign-in.

iPhone and iPad

1. From the device's home screen tap Settings, then Mail, Contacts, Calendars → Add Account → Microsoft Exchange.
2. On the Exchange screen enter:
1. Email: Type your e-mail address.
2. Domain: If this field exists leave this field blank.
3. Username: Type your user name (which is your email address).
4. Password: Type your mailbox password.
5. Description: Enter account description.
3. Tap Next on the upper right corner of the screen. Your device will now try to locate your Exchange server using Microsoft's Autodiscover service. If the server cannot be located, server name need to be entered manually. Enter server name and tap Next:
4. Server: Enter outlook.hs20.net.
5. Choose which type(s) of data you would like to synchronize: Mail, Contacts, and Calendars. Note that by default, only 3 days' worth of email is synchronized. To synchronize more, go into Settings, then Mail, Contacts, Calendars, select your Exchange account, and tap on Mail days to sync.
6. Tap Save.
7. If you're prompted to create a new passcode, tap Continue and enter a numeric passcode.

Android

1. Tap on the Email icon.
2. Enter the following information:
1. Email address: Type your e-mail address.
2. Password: Type your mailbox password.
3. Tap on the Next button.
4. Select Exchange account.
5. Specify the following Exchange server settings:
1. Domain\Username: Type NetBIOS name of Windows domain and your Windows user name HS20\firstname.lastname.
2. Password: Type your mailbox password.
3. Server: Enter name of the ActiveSync server outlook.hs20.net.
4. Select the Use secure connection (SSL) checkbox.
5. Leave the Accept all SSL certificates checkbox clear.
6. Tap on the Next button.
7. Specify the following account options (you can use the default values or specify the custom ones):
1. Email checking frequency (Automatic (Push)/Never/Every 5 minutes/Every 10 minutes/Every 15 minutes/Every 30 minutes),
2. Amount to synchronize (One day/Three days/One week/Two weeks/One month),
3. Sent email from this account by default (Yes/No),
4. Notify me when email arrives (Yes/No),
5. Sync contacts from this account (Yes/No)
8. Tap on the Next button.
9. Specify an account name (optional) and your name.
10. Tap on the Done button to complete the configuration procedure.
